Our nutritional expert, Dr. Patrick Owen, tackles the question of how much protein we really need in our diets. Are we eating too much of it? Unlike carbohydrates or fat, the media hasn’t led any kind of crusades against protein in our diets. Instead, protein is usually seen as the wonder child of nutrition, being associated with health, muscle growth, exercise, and longevity.
